Intraoral scanning s an advanced, non-invasive method that creates a highly accurate 3D digital model of your teeth, gums, and bite. No more discomfort or unpleasant silicone impressions! Instead, a handheld scannergently glides over the surface of your teeth, capturing thousands of images per second and generating a detailed, precise 3D representation in just a few minutes.

At Aregak Dental Clinic, we use the latest 6th-generation TRIOS® digital intraoral scanner, designed for maximum precision in capturing digital impressions of the mouth and teeth. It completely replaces traditional silicone molds, offering a faster, cleaner, and more hygienic experience for both the dentist and the patient.

Whether your treatment involves crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, or other restorations, intraoral scanning enables precise planning and execution of treatment at the highest professional level.

How the Scanning Process Works?

The procedure is simple, quick, and comfortable:

  • The dentist explains each step of the process;
  • A small scanning camera is gently placed in your mouth;
  • The dentist moves it slowly along your teeth and gums, capturing their surface in detail;
  • The device takes thousands of high-resolution images per second and combines them into a unified 3D model;
  • The data is processed through specialized software;
  • A precise 3D model of your teeth appears on the screen in real time;
  • The image is reviewed, saved, and sent to the dental laboratory for fabrication of your personalized restoration.

The entire scanning process takes only 5–10 minutes. ։

When Do We Use Digital Scanning?

Digital scanning is used in a wide range of cases, including:

  • Prosthetics:crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures;
  • Implant restoration:planning and designing implant-supported structures;
  • Orthodontics:aligners, retainers, and treatment planning;
  • Bite analysis:evaluating occlusal contact and alignment;
  • Long-term monitoring:tracking dental changes and conditions over the years.
