Tooth-saving surgery
In modern dentistry, the expediency of dental surgery is steadily increasing. After all, there is no doubt that the elimination of the pathological focus that destroys the tooth, instead of removing the entire tooth, is a more correct, sparing way to the health of the teeth and the beauty of the smile. High quality doctors of our Center, modern equipment and the latest surgical technologies allow even complex operations to prevent inflammation, eliminate defects and restore the proportions of the jaw.
If necessary, the doctor will carry out the procedure:
1.Cystectomy. This is the process of removing the cyst located on the top of the tooth root.
2.Root apical resection (apicoectomy of the tooth root). An effective method of fighting infection that penetrates to the base of the root of your tooth to prevent its further spread.
Cystectomy is an operation that consists in removing the cyst along with the tip of the root of the tooth, near which it is localized. This intervention is prescribed in the absence of positive results of conservative treatment of the tooth cyst and avoids the removal of the latter. It can be performed both on the upper and lower jaw. The cyst is a cavity with liquid content, separated from the surrounding tissues by a dense shell. Education is constantly increasing in size, capturing new areas of healthy tissue. The purpose of cystectomy is to remove the cyst along with its shell, thus eliminating the focus of infection. The preserved tooth can continue to function for many years and even serve as a support for prosthetics
Rehabilitation period.
